For your first team I would do Deadpool / Dante / strider. Deadpool is good at 99, Dante and strider have godlike assists and strider is only good with xfactor lvl 3 Tbqh.

I hear this a lot. I still stick to my team.

Dante is good battery and with Vajra he can keep most typical point characters locked out. And even outzone quite a few of them.
Strider in the middle gets the benefit of having more than three bars and it means either Ouroboros or ToD combo with Ragnarok.
Deadpool is decent anchor, he can easily do big chip damage on XF3, his XF2/3 ToDs. Plus he can outshoot most of the characters - you need to be cautious of the fuckers with near-instant hyper projectiles (Ryu, Akuma, Strange).

Do what you want, idc. People told me to drop Shuma for Doom a lot and I don't because I like Shuma more so just play what you like.

The reason why strider would go in the back is because he gets tons of meter from his first two allies, is crazy good with xfactor, and has a great assist. Otherwise, his damage is crazy low and his meter gain is lacking as well.

Deadpool could work as an anchor but the main thing against it is how terrible his xfactor is. Not the gain he gets (they're some of the best in the game) but the length of it. You're lucky to be able to get a single character with the xfactor length he has.

The Dante one is pretty self explanatory.

Tic throws are still a prevent thing in marvel you know. But usually, people go out of their way to punish pushblocks. For example, vergil throwing out s.h or a raw s, two unsafe moves, wait for the pushblock, then punish the pushblock lag with a stinger for a free combo. There are also things suck as Arthur in gold armor abusing the + frames while blocking his javelin to get an infinite block chain out of them.

You can punish pushblocks from moves that were minus on block as well.
