3 buzzwords in only 4 words, great job! that must be a new record
>>385074212
How are any of those buzzwords? They're just adjectives. You're use of buzzword is a buzzword, however.
>>385074312
ur life is a buzzword fgt
there's a lot to be worried right now
the physical/magical split is almost universally hated by people who've played the early access. It makes hybrid builds extremely weak and discourages versatility. Often my mage was completely useless for damage/CC because nobody else could break magic armor. It also lead to silly situations where an enemy had 2 HP left but my mage couldn't kill him because he still had all his magic armor
some class balance stuff still has time to be adjusted (rogues are OP as fuck), but the physical/magic split is too fundamental to be changed
>>385074540
It doesn't discourage hybrids, it just means that your battlemage has to invest in spells that attack physical armor or don't rely on armor at all
>>385074208
Its fact, not shitpost
>>385074540
The first DOS had exactly zero multiclassing, unless you played on babby difficulties. You can max out only 3 skill trees per character and dabble in one and out of those skill trees 2 must bodybuilding and willpower. The game never had any sort of hybrid class builds for those playing on Honor Mode (aka, the only way to play a game where iron man is an option), since any debilitating effect bypassing your resistance could mean a party wipe and game over.
>>385074812
then you're essentially just building another physical character. That's exactly what it means to discourage hybrid builds/parties.

It's been a while since I played the first game, but I remember you could do a lot of shit in it. All your units, mages or physical, could still cast all their shit and be effective
Not true of DOS2. If your party is skewed towards one damage type - magical or physical - then members of the other type are going to be close to useless on offense.
