How were your experiences with thePC port?
It's basically perfect with FAR these days. Wish I could find out how to disable the letterboxing for cutscenes, though.
>>385072283
please post the glory to mankind 2b picture, also, maybe the version of the one you posted where she has a kind of confused mouth expression, like maybe someone touched her butt
thanks
>>385072397
Cutscenes aren't supposed to be letter boxed?
I like 2B, is she cute like in the fanart?
Because I don't want to get tricked into buying another shitty action game where you mash buttons to win.
>>385072283
ran surprisingly well on my 870m, even without FAR (since I run newer games at 1600x900 anyway)
>>385072283
I've been wanting to play the PC version for awhile now, but at this rate I doubt it will get patched ever. I really don't want to rely on a fan-made mod to be able to play the game normally.
Suggestions?

2B is a cutie, but not as cute as A2. Too bad sheCUTS OFF ALL HER HAIR AS SOON AS YOU GET TO PLAY HER
>>385072898
oops, forgot pic

They are, and I'm usually strict with staying faithful, but it just doesn't look good.
>1 year later
>still no bordeless windowed
>just do it yourself haha
Since I had an RX480 it was crashing on me until people found out what driver version we had to revert to.
After that it was pretty much flawless. I didn't even use FAR until much much later.
>>385072283
With the fix I was running it on 2 1080's in SLI at 4k and running as smooth as Toobie's thighs
well?
>>385072283
First thing I ever purchased with bitcoin
>>385072283Nier-perfect once I got Windowless Gaming to get a proper fullscreen resolution.
Crashed once when it somehow failed to keep loading new zones as I ran around. Considering the joke endings, everyone should be saving often anywas.
Otherwise flawless experience.
100%ed it, it's a great game. Way overhyped and not full price though. Great music, gameplay is a bit lacking and Platinum did a better job with combat in Bayonetta. Other than that, good shit.
>>385075764
I would never kill 2B.
>>385072283
Good, once I downloaded Borderless Gaming. Some dips in framerate here and there but nothing too severe.
>>385075764
>kill
Yes poor 9S
>>385072283
What does she smell like, you guys?
>>385077080
Synthetic.
>>385073056
If you love her, you'll stick with her until she buys a wig.
1080p 60fps at max settings (except for AA) with a GTX970.
FAR pretty much fixed everything.
I still haven't beat it, I don't really get all the praise though, it gets old really fucking fast.
>>385072283
I have an rx480 so I got the white screen of death and had to do the tutorial 3 times. It took amd a few months to actually fix but it's okay now. Performance wise, I can get around 75fps at 1440p with everything but antialiasing on.
>>385077418
>still haven't beat it
There's your problem. It's one of those games that's greater than the sum of its parts, and you have to become familiar with those parts before you can appreciate it.
>>385075764
Yeah I would kiss her
>>385077418
The combat is shallow as fuck it needed to be like devil may cry plus third person shooter thing but it's just button mashing while holding the trigger
>>385077418
When you beat the game youunlock 2 new characters to play a different version of the story.[/story] That's when the game picks up.
Ninesu is kyuute!

Smooth and enjoyable aside from occasional discomfort from using m+kb, but I got used to that.
Just got through the ending E and yeah it's a good game I liked it a lot and I totally get why is it so praised on /v/. It's one of those flawed games that can surprise you when you give them a chance and forgive some of their shortcomings. I went in completely blind and it was a seesaw experience for me - story missions were fun and I really liked some of the bosses, but everything inbetween is boring and dull. Some side quests were really nice lore-wise but overall they just felt like a chore and waste of time. Combat is pretty good, but I wish it was more varied. Special perks on weapons were a good idea, but making them the only distinction between weapons within one type is lazy design. Chip modules were fun to tinker with, especially replacing all hud chips with stats for arena side quests.
As for the plot and endings, it was probably my favorite part of the game along with boss battles. Main plot twist is good in itself, but the way it's presented and slowly hinted at along the playthroughs makes it a lot better. They really nailed the emotional side of scenes and characters, some would say it's "pure kino" and I'm inclined to agree. Also I thought about that 2B twist the moment I completed *that* side quest and when they hinted about it somewhere in route C, I wished it was true. So also nice touch there
Weirdly enough I didn't like ending E at all. I loved unlocking the ending with the whole "you can't survive alone" vibes (fuck you Marketing I could never get past you solo!), but final cutscene was super underwhelming. I guess it's cool thatmain characters survived and dodged their pre-designed fate, but I liked the C and D endings a lot more.
So yeah the game is good and from total of 33 hours of playing I had about 10-15 hours of good times and the rest was somewhere between "meh" and "fuck me this is boring"
Still has constant freezing issues with 700-series nvidia cards afaik.
If you're using anything else, you're probably fine. AMD apparently had a driver update for their issues.
>>385075764
How'd they know I was thinking about how much I love her. That was scary
>>385072283
Honestly ran fine with the patch-mod. One crash, I think.
>>385072283
Fine with FAR but still capped at 60 FPS which is a bit disappointing because I just bought a 144Hz display
>>385078243
Don't play the game on normal.
>>385072283
Game runs perfectly for me on PC. Don't need any dumb mod or anything.
I played at the game's native resolution and didn't raise any display settings above low-medium since I'm not a graficsfag, so I wouldn't run into any of the issues from which 95% of the complaints originate, even with a six year old AMD card. Game only crashed once out of the blue over 150 hours of play.
Also the game itself was great.

Even on Hard or Very Hard, it doesn't make the enemies any more engaging. They just do more damage which is irrelevant in the former as you level up, don't even need any HP Up or Defense Chips, and annoying in the latter since the only thing likely to hit you are the game's ball projectiles that are difficult the gague the distance of when you're not in a top-down section.
