Anyone have a favorite color scheme for their main? I always use the Galo Sengen colors for Sol in Xrd. Although I wish his AC HS color would come back (pic related).

In this hobby I've still never heard of anyone just picking up a controller and being good. Some people learned growing up, and some people start late and grind it out, by either way it's a lot of work.

I've mained Sol since 1999 and change my subs up when I feel like playing someone else. The only time I didn't main him was when I mained Order Sol in AC+. As much as I'd like him back, compared to other characters, he should honestly be pretty low on the priority scale for a return. I wouldn't mind having him back for flashback scenes in the meantime. The fun part of Order Sol is that as rude and blunt as Sol is, back during the Crusades he was outright hostile, considering he was cultivating a violent bounty hunter persona to keep people from discovering too much about him by getting close (and still being pretty damn fresh on his revenge quest). Might be neat to see in story mode.

I just bought rev 2 on PC, playing fighting games with a gamepad stick feels like it shouldn't be a thing. I switched to dualshock 4 Dpad and that felt better but then i started feeling like its not exactly the highest quality dpad around. So now Im using the bone Dpad which feels much better but has more awkward placing since the pad is asymmetrical.


Id buy a fight stick if it wasn't $150 to get a good one. No idea why such a thing is so expensive, its not like your buying your cabinet.

Try out the trial combos

Check out missions at least once a week. I suggest this so that you can get a lot more knowledgeable about the advanced techniques in the game. You might not appreciate their value at first because "herr derr I just want to do combos" but with time and practice you'll begin integrating them into your play.

When playing online, might want to watch over some of your replays. Enjoy watching other people play in the rooms as well.

Keep practising.

Play with a wired connection. Don't think you're tough shit because you beat somebody. And when you lose, always aim to learn something; if you finally learned how to oki or even simply finishing a BnB in a match you'll feel amazing.
