Name a game with more in depth and complex combat. You can't.
I loved Witcher 3 and the combat was the worst part
melee

Bomb build sure was fun though, if a bit overpowered.
Splatoon
>Play the game on Death March first time through
>Have to actually learn how the combat works
>most rewarding experience in gaming I've ever had.
People who bitch about the combat don't understand it.

Agreed, it's pretty casual under DM difficulty.

X-COM

that webm goes back to when it was first released, you'd think shitposters could at least get some new material.
>>385066194
Only at the beginning. Even on DM the combat becomes simple as long as you know how to dodge
>>385066242
hey look it's the guy who posts webms from the release version without the day one patch and acts like they're how the game works.
How much of your hard drive space is dedicated to this? Last time I saw you in a thread you posted like 25 webms.

You can tell it's from the release version by the adrenaline bars.
0/10
Did they fix the level shit?
Breath of the Wild.

>Adrenaline bars are separated
an unpatched game that you played specifically for the purpose of making these webms.
Don't you have anything better to do?
They fixed this before the game even shipped.
>>385068213
It shipped with the problem

>Patch was released before the game could be played (if downloaded digitally.)
>If Physical, disc is shipped and held at the retail store until release date; Patch is released before release date.
>user doesn't understand modern video games.
I bet you still install PC games with a disc too.

Witcher just isn't an interesting character. Too gruff and angry all the time. BotW is way better

This
>>385069194
I almost laughed, 6/8
>>385069194
4/10 because someone else will fall for it.
>>385069194
This.
Link is alpha as fuck and Geralt is a literal cuck.
>>385069194
>too gruff and angry
I know this is bait but it's sad that people actually think this about W3, Geralt, in my opinion, is actually really well acted in the game.
Sometimes I think that people really don't understand subtext and subtly at all.

How do you even make bomb builds work? Grapeshot for instance does little damage to anything not human
The story is great, the combat blows. The fights are all very samey feeling, the moveset is too small, the character progression is too shallow. Also, having 12 talents or whatever active at a time makes leveling beyond level 40ish totally pointless.
>>385072545
>character progression too shallow
This is worse than the combat itself in my opinion.
>>385065901
Yeah nah, I liked Witcher 3 but I wouldn't call it complex. Once you get a feel for dodging it feels like it falls right into the "Press X for epic combo" trope.
