How long do you wait before starting a new game after beating one?

If I know what I want to play, not that long. Also depends on if I want to do something else, like read a book or watch a show.

it's a pretty immediate process. I've been chewing through my backlog with some great progress lately. I only play 10-20 hrs every two weeks so every month or so I beat and 'shelve' a game and move along.

Usually I'm always playing a lot of things and go switching between them.

Like right now I have 5 games that I play whenever I'm in the mood for.

So when I finish one, I just keep going with the others.

On the subject of backlogs I'm trying to be a bit more judicious with what I spend my time on. Even if it's backlogged, there are some games that I figure I'll just write off as lost dosh and move on.

Just removed Killer is Dead after two hours wasted playing that drivel, and will probably remove XCOM too.
