The entire dub is a bad outtake. Possibly the worst dub in history.

Things that I like about retro games
>actually get to play the complete game, and not a bugged out mess that requires a day-one patch
>no DLC or micro-transactions or pay-to-win bullshit
>additional content came in the form of expansions you had to buy physical copies of, and that added a substantial amount of content to the game
>no trophies or dumb online interactivity / social networking connectivity
>no dumb license agreements that require you to sign your legal rights away before the game can be launched
>no always-online validation or other really shitty DRM (although retro games did have some form of copy-protection sometimes)
Things that I don't miss about retro games
>Nintendo censorship (which is still happening to a limited degree, mostly only with Nintendo platforms)
>save / checkpoint starvation
>Gradius syndrome (lose a life and respawn with zero powerups in the middle of a horde of enemies, effectively making further progress impossible)
>random encounters
>passwords instead of a battery backup
>no way to save your high scores
>bullet sponges instead of smart AI (that probably still happens)
