my steam has been crazy laggy, like some powerpoint shit

Yeah steam is like 0fps right now. Thought it was my machine but people on twitter are talking about it also.

i had that happend too.

-close steam and all steam processes
-go to windows internet connection settings
-disable "autodetect" under lan

it will work. just restart steam after

Another fix is to clear the steam web browser cache from steam itself.

Steam > settings > web browser > Delete cache

You have to go through: Settings -> Browser -> Clear Browser Cache (or something like this), it is possible, even though Steam is slow eventually you will be able to do it.
