I honestly couldn't tell you. It just doesn't sit right with me. I think it's just because he'd be gimmicky and not in a fun way. He's really freaking short so unless they scale him up a lot of normals will miss on him and he'll drop out of combos easier than other characters. His power pole sounds annoying unless there's a punishing amount of lag on it. He's got plenty to work with and he's iconic, but I simply don't want him in the game. I don't think I've ever liked when they put Kid Goku in any of the prior games.

The worst part is that I like Kid Goku, but I am instantly averse to seeing him on rosters and I don't know why.

I got Vegeta, Vegito, Black, and GT Trunks, I only just started up again after quitting before the first Broly event and my agl team can beat every event, most with ease.

Really tempted for that SS4 Goku, which is what I wanted most (Vegeta is my favorite but SS4 Goku is cooler than SS4 Vegeta). Also want Vegito Blue, especially since he's gonna be an LR. Not sure if I should save for Phy Cooler, because then my Phy team will be stacked too. Then the new Int Gogeta and Janemba who has a really nice passive.

the thing is those characters work the same way in BT3. Hell, every character was the same in BT3 and Budokai 3. Same movesets, same gimmicks. The only thing that made them feel different was the super attacks.

Kinda like what MK used to be till MK3. Where every character was literally the same minus their 2 or 3 special attacks.

I'm talking about buffs or some different combos inputs and specials.
Picking a ss1 goku would give you specific attributes and special attacks not available in ss3 or blue

The worst thing you can do for a dbz fighting game is to take power level into consideration.
A character playing as krilling should be able to beat a beeurs.

Canon power level shouldn't mean shit in a dbz fighting game. What matters is how the characters feel, their attributes, their mechanics.

If arc system is making a roster based only power levels to determine who should be in and who shouldn't then they are going to make a boring ass character roster.

But I doubt that is the case. You have Freeza, Piccolo and Buu confirmed, and their power levels couldn't be more far apart.

That's why I think it is possible and would love to see a character like Chichi or Roshi in the game.

When revisiting their first ten, I thought Nappa would end up aging horribly. Turns out his jokes are still pretty good whereas everyone else is weak. You could tell how disorganized they were. Everyone was coming from their own abridged series so they probably all thought they were hot shit. They had to make compromises and let all the unfunny people get their jokes in. For example, Masako is basically just a voice actor now, whereas he probably had more input before.

TFS is decent but the show is basically a nostalgia trip. Everything is "Oh shit wasn't this moment cool?" and "Isn't it weird how this wasn't touched upon further?" It's primarily good because at the end of the day it's DBZ.

The Doc does the work in the mid-long range, probably as a battery, with Buu & Krillin's assists helping him out. Krillin is basically raw support based on what we've seen, but he can use meter for Kienzan/Destructo Disc stuff that could be very tricky and I want to try it. Buu looked the most fun of the first 6, and I like his mid-range options and how they've put in very simple baits into his moveset.

Will probably try Trunks, Cell, & Vegeta for fun though.

You need to understand that, while there are some made up normals here and there, most of what we're seeing is transferring the essence the characters we're familiar with into the game. If a character doesn't even have iconic super moves to draw from, like Whis, there's no point. Even a lack of normals is a major mark against probability as far as we know right now. 85-90% of what we've seen is drawn directly from the pages/scenes from the Dragonball manga and DBZ anime.

There are good episodes and bad ones.

Goku vs Hit has great animation.
Most of the Goku Black and Zamasu fights have good animation, especially during key moments.
The tournament of power has been pretty good but its main problem is that because the arc is all fighting they reuse some stuff and there are moments of people just teleporting around.

Overall the animation does get better on average. Mainly due to there being less bad animation.
Super's problem animation-wise is that its not consistent within each episode. You can tell that the budget went to certain moments.

Sometimes villains get redeemed after the fact but they're always relentless assholes through and through during their arc itself, the only real exception is that one dragon from GT who's name I can't remember.

Broly is practically guaranteed for launch; although I'd say it's possible they make him a pre-order bonus that releases as DLC a month after launch for everybody, because he's that popular. Kale would likely be an addition in the 2nd edition (Super DBFZ is so obvious of a name), but at best she'd be the Gohan to Broly's Goku; smaller & faster but with less damage and maybe lacking an option (my first thought is that Broly would have a command grab and she wouldn't).

Honestly the only game I could've pictured non fighter characters like those other than Dokkan Battle was fusions, it was simple and had attacks involving laser guns and the like, things like a fusion between her and Chi Chi (who wasn't in the game either) were a missing opportunity, but half the game is waster potential anyway.

After thinking about it, the arc really had a lot of room for improvement, you attention whore.

Here are a few things they should have done to improve the arc.

>Future Bulma doesn't die at the start, instead she is killed by Goku Black in front of Vegeta after the two have a few nice scenes together. Keeping her alive longer raises the stakes of the arc and gets people to care more about the future timeline.
>Black and Zamasu should have to fuse only because Vegeta was about to kill Black and he couldn't keep fighting.
>Bring Merged Zamasu out of the future and into the present and/or make the present more in danger from him. During the Cell arc we didn't care about Trunks' time, but the present.
>Show Merged Zamasu to be significantly damaged from Vegito's Final Kamehameha. Have him be at essentially 1HP.
>Instead of the Spirit Bomb sword (which I didn't mind too much) maybe do a call back to Cell and have Zamasu be beat by Vegeta and Trunks doing a Final Flash together in a big beam struggle against Zamasu which they only win after Goku hits Zamasu with a Ki blast to distract him.

Reminder that Cooler's upgraded form has those shoulder bulges and the spiky head because it resembles the fact he ascended past Frieza's rank. His head is supposed to resemble a crown and the shoulders resemble those metal things on cloaks(like the ones King Vegeta has). His spikes are also pulled back to be more aerodynamic. The reason why his META body is in base form is because that form is more suited for fighting, there's less going on and it's more streamlined. Much like Frieza, he wouldn't need to buff up anymore.
