I want to replay this shit, bad. Never done some heavy modding but I figured I oughta try something like Obscuro's, or another overhaul.
Just not sure if it's worth the time.

It's the opposite for me. When i play using an alternative start mod i get dropped in the world and the lack of direction makes me drop the game, but the sewer event gives me an initial purpose that soon after turns into just explore around.

It's worth the time. Just finished modding the fuck out of Oblivion and the gameplay is so much better now with OOO and a bunch of other shit that I legitimately want to keep playing.

Use one overhaul, don't try those "get all three big overhauls working together" duct tape mods unless you're a masochist that loves bugs and crashes to desktop.
