It actually had genuinely good music all around. It just absolutely failed to take advantage of it. The final battle music is fucking amazing but honestly I did not even fucking notice it in the game, and only discovered it later on when going through the soundtrack on youtube.

Depends. It has some of the absolutely most mobile, fun, satisfying and fastpaced combat I've seen in a recent shooter, hidden behind a riddiculously and needlesly complex upgrade and loot system that most people don't want to even fucking deal with, much less learn how to utilize it properly.
Also, story and campaign are literally just an excuse to throw player into semi-open combat arenas that repeat themselves over and over.

I had a blast with it, in fact I enjoyed it a lot more than the new Doom, but I'm an outlier. Most people don't like frantic FPS combined with a spreadsheet Excel management game.

I actually agree. I do like individual tracks from the Soulsborne series, but for the most part they do use the same symphonic approach way too goddamn much. It's made worse when so many other big titles make use of 'epic' symphony shit for their soundtracks that barely have a fucking melody at all, it just feels like an orchestra just wailing away aimlessly for the most part, and I just can't enjoy that shit any more. Twin princes in DS3 and Ludwig's shit at least has some semblance of melody to it that makes it rather easy to appreciate at least.

The Accursed > The Holy Blade

Also The Holy Blade loses it's cutscene without the fight.
