world of warcraft came out in 2004, its 2017 now, thats 13 years people have been paying $15 a month. $15x12= $180, $180amonthx13years= $2340 and counting.

who is in the wrong here? blizzard for being jews addicted to shekels for a 13 year old game that should be free to play by now... or us, the players who keep feeding this greedy jewish beast?

i didn't even factor in the in game microtransaction through the in game store, which can push the total amount each of the millions of players pay total in the span of 13 years, its probably well over $4000, for 1 game... that belongs in a fucking museum its so old, wtf!!!????

$180ayearx13year*

woops

also +$60 for each expansion: bc, wotlk, cata, pandawow, wod, and legion= $360

into total for the base game in 13 years is $2700 :/

It is always up to the player to fight against jewish tricks and not give money to their schemes. That they have failed to do so for so long is to claim that such action is acceptable.
>>
>>385004887
Actually it's a completely new batch of subscribers. As far as I can tell, all the people who started to play during cata, or started to play during panda, are totally different players from those who stopped playing after cata/panda.
>>
>>385002535
Isn't it all right though if the people paying this money had fun?

wotlk is the best expansion becaus thats the only expansion and time period of the game where i quit my job and dropped out of school, and moved in with my mom to full time play the game and LIVE inside the game, i would even have dreams about it i was so hardcore into the game, i had a full friends likst and was the leader of my own guild, once cata came along it wasn't the same game for me anymore, i got a job again and enrolled in community college for my g.e.d., and no expansion past, future or present could ever live up to wotlk for me, wow is just a game now, heroes of the storm and hearthstone combined has gotten close to the hype and emergence and dedicated playing time of hots, but not to the point where i quit my job and no life it in my moms basement again, i dont know if any online game will ever be that good again...
>>

If the game becomes free to play they lose all incentive to produce content beyond an expansion's worth. If you don't want to pay, then learn to work the auction house and get a WoW tokens like everyone else. Only casuals pay for a subscription.
>>
>>385007976
>wasting that much time to make in-game gold
>>
>>385008092
If you know what you're doing it really doesn't take that long. One of my friends had enough gold to buy my subscription as well as his third straight month. He just takes a few hours each month to grind foxflower while listening to music. It's faster to buy a token with a minimum wage job, but neets find a way.
>>
>>385002535

>>
>>385002535
How can anyone be okay with paying 15 dollars A MONTH for a game that still has a p2w system?
>>

they already did when you can pay to get to max level instantly!
>>
I've never bought it but it's honestly not as bad as paying for multiplayer/to change your name on consoles
>>
>>385002535
even if you weren't implying everyone was subbed for every single month since launch (which is false for a lot of players) 2340 bucks in 13 years is literally pocket change
no frogposter, you are the skinflint jew
>>
>>385013676
At max level you just start the "main game" - grinding only begins for gear and rep (mounts and stuff).
>>
>>385013676
Total casualisation, but not pay to win. You're not any better for it than any one else who reached max level. Infact, I'd say you be worse off, what with the lack of experience you now have with that character, who is now doing high-level content.
>>
vanillafag here

just dropping by to tell you guys (again) that wow has sucked since the first shitty expansion, and you casuals ruined it forever

until next time, casuals

>>
>>385013730
>2340 bucks in 13 years is literally pocket change
For a single videogame? How many videogames would you be able to afford if they cost 180 dollars a piece?
>>
>WotLK tanks pretend they know what crushing blows are

HAHAHAHAHAHA have fun stamina stacking, fucking shit tier casuals.
>>
>>385015094
People have spent more money on single purchases for a single game, 2340 is fucking nothing.
>>
>>385015251
>Spending 500k on a car is fucking nothing because some people have spent 3 million
This is how retarded you sound.
>>
>>385015351
Just to clarify, I never played retail wow because I refuse to pay for a monthly sub to play a game. But $2,5k in 13 years is fucking NOTHING compared to
>Club Neverdie in Entropia Universe – $635,000

If you buy one game a month for 13 years you will end up spending FAR more money than 2k or 2,5k that wow requires. If you play wow all the time like the regular mmo addicts it's really not much.

Your argument for WoW's subscription price is that you can play it for a long time? Literally what?
You can try to apply whatever mental gymnastics you want to, the bottom line is that you're paying 180 bucks a year to ACCESS a fucking videogame you've already bought. not to mention the fact that you have to buy each and every expansion.

>>
>>385002535
in terms of entertainment per dollar spent, WoW is probably the cheapest in the world.

15 bucks a month for probably 90 hours of entertainment a month (more or less depending on autism levels)

one movie at the theater costs this much and provides ~2 hours of entertainment

>>
>>385002535
I havn't paid for my sub in 3 years, its your own fault if you're too retarded to spend an hour making enough gold to cover your month.
>>
>>385017647
Not him, but Microsoft doesn't even provide the servers that you're paying money to connect to. You play Overwatch on an Xbox, you're paying Xbox to gain access to Blizzard's servers. Its just jewy- gate keeping. When you're paying Blizzard's sub, you're supposed to be paying for the server upkeep costs, as you are connecting to Blizzard's servers. 15 dollars is exorbitant, but it is better justified than paying for console online multiplayer.
