Both are garbage, but I will never forgive EA. Pic related is also missing Darkspore which they shut down forever despite being a singleplayer game because they couldn't be bothered to remove their cancerous always-online DRM.

Doesn't make them any better but at least ubisoft got Rayman Legends right. I rarely buy games from them anymore for obvious reasons but rayman is the kicks

Both are fucking terrible, though I can't forgive EA what they did. They butchered franchises and killed studios. Everything they touch turns to shit and dies. EA is grim reaper of gaming industry and worst of all, they destroyed SPORE. Fuck EA.

Ubisoft at least tries do make new IP sometimes and while most of their games is open world trash for the sake of being open world sometimes they do so something fun (Black Flag, From Dust). EA games are devoid of any soul, almost disgusting to play.
EA absolutely needs to be destroyed, no other company deserves this more. Not even Bethesda or Activision. Maybe Valve.

Ubi releases a lot of uninpired trash but it's been better recently and things like how Siege recovered from a poor launch and For Honor was legitimately interesting but is dead sadly. To EA's credit Origin actually works unlike Uplay.

I think Ubisoft tries to do good things and fails miserably most of the time, it tries too hard and simply forgets the whole point of what it's doing. EA, on the other hand, deliberately makes shitty moves being concious about it.
For example, Ubisoft wanted to have a comunity with Uplay, and it failed badly because it was terrible, but the intention wasn't so bad.
EA has that code shit and EA accounts so that people couldn't resell their games.
Both are bad companies that seek money, but EA is specially evil.

Aside from making open world copypasted trash year after year since fucking 2007, Ubisoft has some decent games under their belt, even recently with some small projects. EA on the other hand is a disease that actively seeks devs with original and good ideas (DICE, Visceral, old Bioware, Maxis) buys and butchers them to sell their watered down vision to the masses, and then leaves them to die afterwards. Now tell me if that isn't evil as fuck.

I'm pretty sure Ubi will actually turn into WorseEA after being bought by Vivendi, but we'll see.

EA ruins everything they touch, they take previousl existing beloved franchises and rape them. What has Ubisoft even done to anyone? They shit out lots of AC and FC, so what. Most ACs are actually quite enjoyable but not worth full price. Rainbox 6 Siege was a disaster but their genuine interest in making it better turned it around last minute against all odds.
They want to make good games, they just fuck it up more often than not. EA does not care how a game turns out as long as it sells because of the franchise name they did not even build up themselves.

So in conclusion, Ubisoft is bad at what it does and EA is just plain evil (also bad at what it does)
