Anyone want to squad up for some MoHW?
I could use an FTB that actually knows what they're doing, unlike most of the pubs i come across.

Who even plays this shit
>>384999006
Approx. 100 players a day, more on weekends.
It's a tight knit and comfy community, good fun to be had.
>>384999006
No one fucking played it half a decade ago when it came out, I don't know what the fuck OP is doing.
>>384999098
It's an awfully fun game if you ask me, although it has its glaring issues the overall experience is enjoyable.
Also i find the development this game had, to be fairly sad. It couldve been a lot more if not for some corporate bullshit. Vid related

good gunplay in this, thats about all i remember
>>384998874
>Warifighter
Can't even make this shit up.
>>384999598
Not a fan of the name?
>>384999552
About as good as it gets i'd say, lots of fun little details to gnaw away at if your home board is /k/
>>384999726
>Not a fan of the name?
It sounds like one of those parody names that people would make up to make fun of the brown bloom shooters that flooded the market some years back.
>>384999796
It is somewhat over the top, like an edgier version of "Serviceman" but i never saw much wrong with it, far as i know it originated from the military aswell, in the mid-aughties.
I find it odd there's a dedicated fanbase for what is essential just a BF3 reskin
>>385000897
same, this game was fucking crap
its probably just kids who only had it to play and so they nostalgia for it despite how shit it is
>>385000897
The game plays completely diffrently to Battlefield 3, atleast if you are somewhat knowledgable about FPS games and how they work.
The easiest comparison to make is Call of Duty with a class system. CoD is essentially what EA tried to go toe-to-toe with, while Battlefield would blend realism with arcade, they intended to make MoH into a full-on arcade shooter (With realistic aspects IE: Well crafted gun models, animations and textures.)
>>385001223
It literally uses a fuck ton of BF3's animations m8, it's the same shit MoH 2010 was to Bad Company 2.
>>385001097
Ironically, most of the players i see online are old men. (I'm fairly young in comparison)
I'm guessing this is because of the patriotic nature of the game. Essentially making it into your dads friday night PTSD simulator, where he can yell about how superior the US of A is, to third world turks, while downing cans of PBR and cycling lead-heads through his 1911.
>>384999796
I'm assuming you made fun of this game too? Or did you forget?
Play rising storm 2 vietnam instead, good teamplay and PTSD.

Untrue, the very large majority of first person animations were done in-house by Danger Close, with small assets borrowed from BF3, as opposed to BF4, where Dice essentially lifted the entire weapon set of MoHW into the game.
Did you know the AUG has a total of 8 different reload animations? I've also noticed that, during tactical reloads, you retain the magazine as opposed to dropping it, and vice versa during empty reloads. I find that to be quite heartwarming attention to detail, where in most AAA titles like CoD you see glaring errors in models and animations everywhere. This is mostly where my love for this game stems from.

I've been wanting to get that actually, unsure of how well my rig will handle it though, and i've been broke as of late so it'll have to wait.
>>384999726
trying to make a cool nationality poster doesn't really work when one country outnumbers everyone else
>>385001837
Somewhat expected considering where the game was made, and how the MoH series was always based behind "Honoring the US Soldier." Think of the Americans as the protagonists.
>>384999065
That sounds very nice. I hope you're having fun, anon. Comfy.
this is literally the only thing I keep in my memory about this game

I appreciate the sentiment, my man!
But why not hop on board the comfy train and (try to) have some fun aswell? Or is it not your type of game?
>>385002538
Been an awful long time since i've heard that song, or anything from Gavin for that matter.

>>385002728
I'll be sure to give them a look and see then, pretty confident i'll find something i like considering i enjoyed his stuff in the past.
>>384998874
Shouldve probably put this in the OP, but here's my ID incase anyone wants to take me up on my offer, or just chat things up in general.
