Is this game any good?

The actual gameplay is. The game just lacks so much content making it not worth the price.

actual gameplay destroys what base gameplay the others offer. Others have garbage like paint mode or hoops that people pretend they miss so this is supposed to be an irredeemable game. That said the court is the same every time which sucks.

It was a quick salvage attempt at making the Wii U look like it had more games coming out. It's very basic compared to other Mario Tennis games, but fine if you like that or get it cheap.
