It'll sputter out OK games once in awhile but Nintenboys will be so deprived they will think they are GOTY worthy.
Some indie games will come and charge 5x the price of the PC release for a worse version.

Looking at it from an unbiased point of view, I think it will do fine and have its own legs to stand on after 2017, maybe 2019 and it would be considered a worthwhile purchase for most.

Not that big of a pokemon guy, but normalfags and fans have been asking for a HD pokemon for decades, which will really be the turning point for the system. Oh and there's also the other IP that Nintendo have dug up, so I guess there's something in it for the people who are looking for another metroid/kirby/yoshi/xenoblade etc
Will probably end up purchasing one sometime during early or mid 2018 personally. This would be super great for bedtime and early morning vidya sessions on lazy weekends.
