Why are skill weapons so shit?

When exactly was the moment this game decided to end on a sad little putter?

Generally less range and stagger while not making up for it with higher damage. That being said, Rakuyu probably has the coolest move set

people probably moved onto Dark Souls 3 and or simply don't care about online shit.

The beasthunter saif is one of the best weapons in the game IMO, it tears chunks out of everything at 50 skill and can be buffed on top of that

They require skill to do well

Because pretty much every weapon is good at fast r1 spam, but those weapons have more damage and stunlock more effectively.

The thing that's shit about this game is that it has no build variety and there are very few ways to play the game the way you want to play it.
