I hope it's good. It looks like Crackdown should look, for sure, I just worry they won't have a good flow for the city or enough interesting shit to mess with. It's mostly just a big playground, something 1 did very well, and something 2 faltered on a bit (though it did better with enemy variety).

It's a hard game type to straight up fuck up though. But I don't know if Crackdown has ever been THAT BIG of a series. More like a moderate success than anything I'd call triple A.

Honestly I don't care about the rest of the game as long as it's fun as the other 2 Crackdowns. Whatever gameplay I see of it looks like it's Crackdown still, so I'm relieved. It's still pretty weird to me that they decided to leave Pacific City, and then change the game from a retelling of 1 to a sequel of 2. I hope it ends up fine but I'm worried about the changes it had in production. Transforming vehicles better come back. It'll probably sell decently.

Unfortunately, they seem to not be showing off this destruction much. I don't even think it's in the game anymore, let alone multiplayer. Hopefully PC gets it, but then that would make the XbOne irrelevant.

I know what you mean anon. Personally, I don't mind because I'm interested in the game for being Crackdown, fucking loved the first 2 games in the series. But for anyone whose sole interest in the game was the destruction shit would be wise to be cautious. They haven't showed more of this destruction for the past 2 years, there's not even any word on this multiplayer portion of the game anymore and may very well have been canned. The devs did 'confirm' that the destruction is still in at E3 but without any footage it's all a crock of shit.
