Are they king when it comes to localization, /v/ros?
no, they're only marginally better than NISA.
No wtf. Are you bananacakes?

hells no. they censored dungeon traveler 2
Since the old king died, yes.

You're aware prior to P5 there was no dual audio? Had to bitch about it for years. Initially they weren't going to do it this time either.
>Look for Persona 5 on youtube
>English dub every time
>>384985702
Nah they're pretty mediocre overall. Having spoken honorifics in the English audio for Persona 4 was the dumbest shit imaginable.
Dragon Quest VIII remains the best localization of a JRPG ever in my opinion.

>Atlus in Europe
no. but I'm glad we get something at least.

I actually made a shitton of threads bitching about the lack of dual audio in their games, too. It's a miracle for me that we have Jap voices in P5.
But P5 is more or less how a localization should be handled, IMO. Mostly faithful *and* it has weeb voices.

Alexander O. Smith's work is the best when it comes to vidya localization.

They're not good, they're just better than everyone else.
If Index Holdings weren't cooking their books, they never would have had the funds to buy out Atlus as well as many other companies. And Atlus would never have been sold to Sega Sammy afterwards.
It's a shame how Atlus got fucked over by frauds.

They're better off working for Sega than anywhere else. They put themselves in the position to be bought by Index.
