Please help. I have no idea where to go from here.

I use aerospray and only do unranked. I did Salmon run and made it to the "professional" I think but and won 1 out of 7 maybe before being demoted.

I have tried the weapons and I just don't know what to go for. I want whatever is best to get good with for the long term. I'm not opposed to any weapon type, but for some reason I find the snipers to be really lame, and I'm not a fan of the slow ass rollers.

Also, what abilities should I avoid?

If you faggots want infinite food tickets, go to Octo Canyon 2-6 and 5-27. There's a box near each location and inside is one food ticket. Exit out Octo Canyon once you collected the food tickets, then go back in again and repeat. This time the ticket is greyed out, but it still counts. Got 100 food tickets with this method. Main ability is static but I think it's possible to find same pieces with different primaries. At least this is the case with the Salmon Run gear. Same shirt but the ability can be different.

Sub abilities can be set manually using ability chunks. You get these from doing salmon run and also from 'scrubbing' gear clean, which resets the item to start and gives you respective chunks.

You can also slightly control what the randomly gained abilities are but it's not guaranteed

this, I keep seeing this happening even if you try to spray out of the way places to try to keep that total up the weakness it makes on your front line will lead to most of your turf being reclaimed. Since 90% of matches I've been in are 3 players form each team in the no man's land and one guy trying to flank. I've seen it work with something like splat-rollers and brushes but that's like some final 30 second gambit move shit.

It's way easier to juke than you think if you slip around in unexpected ways. Like the "master tech" where you can jump over a roller or being able to hide on walls if you have stealth squid. Hell, going squid at all changes your hitbox to get behind people. That and there's so many new things and hiding spots in the new maps that if you can't utilize your environment you just aren't using it well.
