Because, just like the movie its parodying, it's camp. Its good because its so bad.

Aside from the combat it's actually good though, top tier open world gameplay.

I love this game, it's probably my favorite one from the 360/ps3 gen, but god fucking dammit I hated the japanese over the top shit at the end, it completly ruined it so hard that I usually forgot those last bits exist
