He has pretty much every jump technique Mario had in 64, plus more, except he has hat throws rather than punches and kicks. He has the air dive again, and the hat throw keeps you a little airborne just like the jump kick would do in 64. I fucking LOVE how Mario takes visible damage now. When you hit a cactus, spines appear on his nose like in that pic. When you catch fire or get blown up, Mario is covered in cartoony ash. It looks amazing.

The only thing I'm kind of iffy about is how they're using the 2D-style "fall through the world" deaths like they did with 3D world, and it's kind of weird.
