It's time for /v/ to realise that the EA that exists today is not the same EA that we've all grown to loath. EA is currently providing incredible support for their games and Origin itself is by far the most consumer friendly video game distributor available (even though it's lacking in variety)

EA is the constant between Battlefront and Mass Effect: Andromeda "today", so no, they really are the problem.

The EA that exists today IS the same EA. Maybe a few people here and there are different, but the shareholders, and so many of the people who saw the company through twenty years of being the worst company in video game publishing/development, are all still there.

It's EA. It will always be EA. And anything with an EA label on the box should be avoided or pirated.

The first one was terrible no reason to think this will be any different. Everything they've shown only highlights how much shit they left out of the first one and how much less it still has compared to the old BF2.

Origin provides the best demoing system out of all its competitors, they've provided full refunds before any of its competitors, and they've continued to support their games long after their intended life cycle. EA is doing pretty great things that no one else is doing, so I don't see how they haven't changed.

It looks like they actually listened to criticism of the first game, removed the jewish DLC segregation and removed cards and pick ups and went back to a class system and pointbuy for hero classes. The vehicle system might be better than the first one even if not as good as I'd want it to be.

First one was trash so I didn't touch it after the beta, but I'm gonna get this one.

It looks like this time they made heroes weaker, but if you're decent you can spam spawn as them to balance their weaker state. If you suck you won't get to play as them as much. And you can't sit out and take shots from 5 people, the videos had you dying pretty quickly doing that as jedi.
