Is this one of the most overrated games in existence?
I made it to the desert and then shut it off because it is always the same fucking grinding clickfest.

The PVP is what made the game fantastic. People would rush through the entire campaign then powerlevel characters just for it. The campaign is certainly overrated though

it was pretty great for the time and led to innovation, some parts hold up and the skill tree/progression isn't one of them

The early game is kind of slow, especially if you're playing melee. Honestly melee is kind of awful the whole way through.
Play a caster, drink a lot of mana potions.
