why is this meme a thing? There are clearly a lot of critically acclaimed kickstarter games out there, why focus on only the crappy ones?
I've never fucked up on the goals I picked, honestly i think you'd have to be a complete mong to not tell what's gonna be good and what's gonna be bad.

For every one good Kikestarter game there are 99 turds or scams. It's easy to see why someone would not want to support any of them given the typical track record.

this is the case for video games already. and yet most people don't buy trash games. Bad kickstarters are just as, if not more transparent. I've invested in quite a few and never been let down.
