It's only the first game, it has the biggest reliance on bullshit precision platforming but since the new game slightly changes the jumping physics, some levels just feel more bullshit
I beat it and died a grand total of 74 times
2 and 3 are a fucking cakewalk in comparison thanks to better controls

I hate this comparison, it's no harder than it used to be. We have all just got progressively worse at games.
Dark souls is technically harder, but crash uses outdated artificial techniques making it hard to 100% but easy to complete.
