Not to play devil's advocate but like there doesn't seem to be a place for this thing in the market. Most people own a ps4, a smaller amount own xbox one the console market has dried out. Why would a parent for instance buy their child a Switch when they already have a ps4 ? Why would people buy a Switch when the PS4 already covers most of their gaming needs?

But is the nintendo fanbase really that big? because honestly i think the nostalgia factor is wearing pretty thin for most people, every console except the Wii (which was a success due to it filling a niche later filled by smart phones and tablets) every console has sold worse than the last. I dont think there are more than maybe 12 million nintendo fans and that is not gonna be enough to sell well within its lifetime.
