Here's the link to the thread I found: http://www.nma-fallout.com/threads/the-story-of-van-buren.213939/
It's essentially Fallout 3 had Fallout 3 actually been a sequel to Fallout 2. IMO the story sounded like it would have been so fucking fun to play through.
Somebody posted this on r/fallout recently and all his post got was a bunch of stupid ass responses all saying, "eh i don't really like that." The thing is r/fallout has a pretty decent pro-bethesda circlejerk going on, so I'd rather hear /v/'s thoughts on the game.

more like shitty shitfest that'd try to cram way too much in one game

Nice pic. Name?

Van Buren could've been great. But it was on a fast track to hell with the garbage Interplay wanted in it.

Nah I disagree. Fuck Interplay but I think they learnt their lesson with PoS.

Anon, don't tell me you think forcing Multiplayer and Real-time combat into Van Buren would've been a good idea.

It worked good in Tactics. And I bet the multiplayer would have been a nice addition.

And none of us will ever get to play it. Keep dreaming, OP.
