>small levels, perfect for arena and simple as fuck shooters (as it was intended for)
>horrible looks (aged worse than 2004 Doom 3, Half-Life 2, and Far Cry)
>same looks with crappy shaders (it seems as only cartoonish looks could look any different on this engine, like Dishonored)
>shit performance (holy crap, Crysis, with its big levels, runs better on my mediocre machine than even the "brilliant port", Gears of War)
>30fps on consoles (could be much better, even Call of Duty on Quake 3 engine managed to pull off 60 and look much more realistic and life-like)
>shit physics (Source still looks better, but runs even on shit-tear laptops like a charm)

It was present in every UE3 game and yet devs just acted like it was fine. It was horrific.

Right you are. But it's far from worst. I can deal with texture pop-ins. I CANNOT STAND WHEN DEVS JUST GO AHEAD AND IMPLEMENT CONSTANT LOADINGS LIKE "OHH, SMAHS THAT BUTTON TO OPEN A DOOR, PLAYA, THAT'S A FEATURE
