Dashing Demon Cradle doesn't even serve the same purpose as a regular one dude. Dash Demon Cradle is for poking, mixup, and generally getting in.

he sucks in vsav, really has to work hard for everything. damage output is not too good, no overhead.

I really tried to make him work, fishing for knockdowns with chain combos and doing demon bites, but other than the teleport dash and demon setups it's not even fucking worth. going to stick to bulleta

You are somewhat right, Demitri is the best grappler in the game. He doesn't have an overhead but his normals, crossups, and throw game are top notch. He's also pretty mobile, but you can't dash all over the place, with Demitri you really need to get used to walking.

Well those and his throw OS (If the opponent tries to jump out of his P throw they'll eat a close 5.HP). His dash is also a lot of what enables his mixup since you can just dash into Bliss/Pleasure/360 or Demon Cradle or Fireball or some normals.

As some who's never played VS/Darkstalkers before I'm glad Morrigan is the face of the series now, she's more interesting and is a lot less generic looking.

That said, Demitri is way better than Felicia. I think she's atrocious.

I've had this argument before, but a Shoto needs three things:
>Fireball
>Uppercut
>Hurricane kick

Only true shotos in SF are Ryu, Ken, Akuma, and their evil versions. The only true shoto in Darkstalkers is Lillith. Butt is a shoto in Garou. Cyclops is a shoto in Marvel. Jago is a shoto in Killer Instinct (Shadow Jago is not). Morrigan is only a shoto in Pocket Fighter. Ryo is sometimes a shoto, but othertimes he isn't. Most other games do not have shotos. And no, Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske are not shotos.

Demitri has those 3 things. Kinda. Bat spin isn't really a traditional hurricane kick and while it's still used for mobility it's also used more as a tool to punish and starting extended blockstrings.
