Its a fine game. Very well balanced with fights. Most major boss fights have a strategy for users to figure out in order to best them, making them largely puzzles in a way. Fusing Personas to make a Persona that is immune to your enemies is satisfying. Ryotaro, Kou, and Dojima had really good social links too.

Emulate vanilla P4 on PC and watch the added events on YT

I just hope it wouldn't only be 3 and 4. They should port over the PSP version of 1 and 2 (including the version of Eternal Punishment we never got).

they did say somewhere they've got big persona news in the new year, though. hopefully among the bullshit dancing/fighting/karting games they'll make, they'll bother to churn out a collection with 2 (and ideally 1 as well, but i don't think that's aged quite as well)

Golden adds a bunch of animu tropes like beach and concert scenes, with writing that flanderizes every party member down down to one or two character beats (i.e. Chie=MEAT). It also awkwardly shoehorns a new character into the game who everyone inexplicably loves. You also get an extra 1.5 months of in-game time at the end of the game, which would be nice, except that it ruins the pacing after the climax of catching the killer.

As a standalone game, the original is superior. Golden is just fanservice for people who want more.

I finished P5 the other day and wanna jop right back into it again, or another Persona game.
Someone in the UK PLEASE lend me their Vita + PG4, I will love you forever.

Yeah, i don't know if its just Sony decreasing shipment volume due to lower demand or stores just not caring, but i had to get one online. Target, Best Buy, and Gamestop didn't have any new ones (Best Buy at least told me they were expecting more in a week or so, while Gamestop said they weren't sure and to check back with them in a few days)

The Playstation TV was discontinued a while ago, but can still be found brand new on Amazon for reasonable prices.
