Ngpc was the shit. Bought one cheap in downtown la with a blister pack of six games. The only shitty part was the memory battery it needed.
Cap vs snk had it all in this system, 1v1,2v2,3v3, minigames, big roster.
The card game was great two with lots of nods to old series.

Yes, the introduction of paid online is a blight on video games. But it had a fantastic library of niche exclusives, ran multiplats the best (besides PC, but even then some 6th gen PC ports are trash), was hackable, etc.
