1. the ability to create a sophisticated 3D character model
2. the ability to convincingly animate a pre-existing 3D character model
3. the ability to create sophisticated 2D art
4. the ability to code

You won't have the budget to get anything out of 3D, and learning to code takes much less time than learning to draw competently.
All 4 equally, why would you even bother if you can't do all of em.
