Shani is best girl. The conversation you have about how she wants someone she can settle down with and just relax with after a stressful day at work was kind of sad considering that's exactly what Geralt does in the Yen ending, with the two retiring and spending their years peacefully enjoying wine, sleeping in, hot baths and lots of sex.

Would've been nice to get an epilogue where if you did Hearts of Stone before finishing main quest you could end up with her, instead of only letting your choice of sorceress matter

Gwent is an ultimate proof that CDPR aren't capable of making a multi game.

First round play enough power that your opponent can't just hoard all their good shit and still win, second round either press your advantage if you won first or throw out token efforts in order to crush the third. If you lost first round you need to heavily commit in the 2nd since if you don't win it you lose, but you can't use everything since then you'll just lose the third round so you have to play just enough that you come out ahead

I've only played it in Witcher 3. I just don't understand how the fuck I'm supposed to win a game when I have like 10 cards for the whole match. I always run out. Plus, isn't it basically impossible to beat anyone past White Orchard unless you travel the whole land looking for the best cards?

The same principle applies in both version of Gwent. You have to play in such a way that allows you to win without using up too many cards. It's an interesting concept, and I'm sure you'd wrap your head around it with a little effort.

You misspelled Triss. Yen actually wants a peaceful life like a family. More in books than in games actually even. She didn't research a way to restore her fertility without a reason.
Triss on the other hand is the most fake romance in whole fucking game. She is in the series only because in W1 we were supposed to play as custom witcher, then Berengar. Most of the script and characters were written when they decided to change it for Geralt so it stayed that way.
This is why there is no Yen and Ciri in W1. Triss got BTFO'd by Yen in books and even Fringilla Vigo makes more sense as a second optional romance for Geralt than her.

This is pathetic. She casted ONE new spell in books and by fucking accident because her mouth was cut and she was fucking terrified so she couldn't speak straight. Also she casted it together with Yennefer.
Triss is a bitch and should fucking die.

This game is fucking boring. I mean I love the story but the combat is just so lame. It's too easy and fast to be strategic, but too slow and fumbly to be really actiony and intense. IMO they should have just made it more DMC like instead of an awkward RPG/action hybrid

I haven't finished W2 or W3 but I've finished Witcher 1 several times and read each book at least twice (with exception of 5th one, that shit is unreadable). Yen is fucking cunt and expect Geralt to do whatever she wants. She's like my fucking ex. Fuck Yen. Fuck Triss too. Single father Geralt+Ciri is best scenario.
