played 10 hours or so, pretty solid game, though it has issues

I played in the alpha on and off for the years it was in I really do enjoy it and they did do a lot to the game over time but the main thing it lacks seems to be the lack of maps even tho as you get stronger in power the raids get harder the zone maps gets repetitive.

You'll typically get enough from your dailies to open premium llamas fairly consistently since there's almost always a discounted/special one, but the rates are really bad. Like the other dude said, you'll be opening a lot early on, but if you get unlucky you might get stonewalled in later difficulties.

It would be a much better game if they had proper progression in place, but it's obvious that Epic just wanted it out the door after being in development for so long.

I've been wanting a multiplayer game to fuck around with in co-op with friends like this for a while. Orcs Must Die 2 was good fun for a while, but that's only 2-player co-op. I saw there's another Orcs Must Die that's free to play, but the reviews are kinda negative, so I just hope this doesn't end up being a big disappointment.

I was worried about the procedurally generated worlds making the game stale but they are surprisingly detailed enough of junk in the houses and the streets that they all look different layouts and they all feel fun to explore, we'll so far they do, even if they all look like Tim Burton/monster house style suburbs.

On average you spend about 7 minutes collecting resources and the next 15 building and defending per mission.
The only time you spend an enormous amount of time collecting is the first couple missions. After that it's just maintaining your stacks so you don't have to do that again.

It's Warframe, without the good gameplay, a massive lack of variety, forced 20+ minute long missions and you spend 99% of the time hitting cars.
