I also like playing as grapplers, but thats mostly because i'm a massive scrub and i like to "shortcut" my laziness when it comes to the combo execution grinding aspect of fighting games by sticking to big movies that do a lot of damage at once.

i played both litchi and tager in blazblue
litchi can be frustrating just to remember the combo routes
in later games that became an issue with tager as well, but at least his are sort of simpler
