This. Aerospray may be inaccurate as hell, but its coverage is beastly and can really fuck up shit in Turf War. Its special is also damn useful and if used correctly can spread over a huge amount of area and kill a bunch of enemies if spammed enough (Only downside is its distance is pretty meh).

Salmon Run is great fun, and the rewards are pretty good. Single player is okay so far, about on par with the one in the first game.

Turf Wars is a mess. The maps are way too large and are cluttered with tons of shit everywhere. Most special weapons feel really underpowered and seem more suited for Salmon Run or the ranked modes. Leveling up takes forever and many levels only unlock a single weapon.

Haven't tried Ranked mode yet, waiting to buddy up with a friend so I don't off myself from playing with randumbs.

Opposite. Inkbrush is faster but less damage/coverage than Octo. You can move really fucking fast when painting with it. It's faster than your normal move speed. Helpful for get aways when you don't have much ink coverage. I don't like the brushes honestly. Gives me hand cramps jackhammering the shoulder button. But I would much prefer to use Octo for faster kills.

Just finished Hero Mode.
The bosses this time were still overall pretty good, I do like how the 1st (3rd) boss came back.
I'm glad they had a kind of unnerving boss like they did in Splatoon 1 (the fish thing) the Shower boss was fun as fuck.
Final Boss was a joke in comparison to Splatoon 1's , but still pretty awesome in it's presentation, the remix of the Squid Sisters song was pretty tight too.

Salmon run is probably my favorite part, holy shit, they need to expand upon this shit in the next game. Also I got to Profreshanal and its a nightmare now.

Also fuck Fog and Skyfish.
Though I wouldn't mind seeing a "realism" mode where it's one life and you're done.

Annie's App is incredible. 3 Star Gear super fast.

I miss the gamepad a lot. I don't care what all the contrarians say, I could actually see it at all times so it was useful to see what spots I need to go back to and where the enemies are. The current map is borderline useless except for a quick clance while you respawn. I miss the old specials too, but there's some fun new ones. Overall this game is better because salmon run, better match making, faster map rotation, and the fact that I'm not the only person I know that has the console to play it.

I'm a bit confused why playing with friends in turf war is such a pain in the ass, but salmon run is exactly how you'd imagine it should work. I haven't tried rank yet how does the friends work for that? Also it's a blast to finally be able to play with someone in the same room, but I wish they had splitscreen because it would've saved me $60.

There is literally only one new weapon type in Splatoon 2 and that's the dualies. Any other 'new' weapon like the Goo Tuber or the Flingza is just a twist on already established weapons. It's disappointing because I always imagined the sequel to Splatoon would have crazy paint weapons like an airspray flamethrower (lol stingray) and other crazy shit.
