I've noticed /v/ trying to meme Catalyst into good status recently. Maybe cuz it's a bargain bin flop?

No memeing here, is Second Son any good? I never got to play an inFamous game and I've always been interested since that old Prototype/inFamous rivalry. Don't have access to a PS3 and tracking down the PS3 games, but Second Son is dirt cheap second hand, is it worth it?

I thought it was fun. Seattle is very cool to explore. It's a bit short and most people who hate it hate it because it isn't quite as good as the first 2 games.

The only good thing about Catalyst is the Solar Fields soundtrack

So seeing as I never got touch an inFamous game before, I ought to be alright? I always like the more open superhero aspect than Prototype, although Prototype has pretty excellent gameplay.

You would probably be able to enjoy it the most having not played the other two, so definitely give it a shot. It's a solid 7/10 game.

It's alright. My main issue with it is the powers being imbalanced and the side missions being shit but still very fun to play. probably not as good as 2
