Is it a good game?
I only played the 3rd game a decade ago, though I dont understand why there are monster / demons at the final part of the game.

I picked up 2014 Thief shortly after release because I was assured that the existing trilogy wasn't crucial for the game and because I had recently gotten into stealth games. Even as somebody who does not play a lot of stealth and wouldn't know how to articulate what the good/bad parts of the best stealth games are, it still blows pretty fucking hard, mostly because the plot is so buttfuck retarded that it robbed me of any enjoyment the game might have provided. I kept thinking I had skipped a cutscene somewhere or maybe DID need to play the first games to understand what the hell was going on, but it turns out the plot is just REALLY fucking bad.
