Most games on PS4 Pro run worse than normal PS4. Majority don't bother to offer a 60fps mode because the PS4 is bottlenecked by its CPU in general, and sloppy programming.

I have my PC if I so desire higher fidelity visuals/framerate.

That's a 10+ year expired come back, I'm afraid you're going to have that one replaced.

Too expensive. I was willing to buy a PS4 Slim for $250 but I still don't think the console is worth $400, and even then I used a $100 gift card on the former so really it was $150 out of pocket for me. So yeah, Pro can fuck off for all I care.

What? That's only true for 4k modes and ones where unlocked framerate is not something you can lock to 30. Nearly all the games run better with better framerates or graphical fidelity at minimum. Yakuza 6 for example gets screen tearing out the absolute ass, has frame drops, and is 900p while on Pro it's 1080p, has no screen tearing, and no frame drops.

I would have bought one if it had backwards compatibility. my ps2 broke down a year ago, and seeing as how it was my first console i'm disappointed I don't have much of a way to play all of my old games again. the only sony exclusives that interest me are demon's souls and bloodborne, so it would literally be more worthwhile for me to buy a ps3.
