>tfw you play videogames to simulate the feeling of travel
only good thing about Yakuza games tbqh
You mean a game that simulates shit like waiting in the terminal for your flight and wearily watching your route to see if this taxi driver is scamming you by driving around in circles?
Or a game that helps you feel the surge of adventure as you travel through varying environments? That would be San Andreas.
Sadly this is a big part of why I play video games.
Art and level design is important to me, if it looks like shit, I don't want to visit.

I actually unironically love airports. I think they're supercomfyand very human. Everyone in that single moment of waiting for their flight is the same. There's no race or religion--just people. People trying to kill time by sitting on the ground next to an outlet with a laptop, or taking up too many seats by sleeping on multiple terminal chairs, or visiting the various shitty shops located near your terminal out of desperation. Also, I love that airport coffee smell. You can't get that smell anywhere else. Airports are the better than the destination.
