Actually that's pretty reasonable for a best buy. I work at a small box store and we got 60 copies. Sold about 40 so far.

You'd be surprised, we got around 200 copies of BOTW despite only getting 80 switches for the launch, and nintendo isn't even the worst of them. Fucking sony sent my small store 150 copies of horizon. We're still sitting on 67 of them.

Every best buy is getting anywhere from 3 to 15 bi-monthly and sell them the Sunday after the shipment arrives. We've also been getting larger shipments to sell on the launch dates of bigger releases like Mario kart and splatoon. If you're really desperate, call your local best buy and try connecting to extension 2220, that's the inventory desk. Ask when their last shipment was and come in 2 Sundays after that. Pretty much anyone who answers that phone wouldn't be willing to give that sort of info to a customer but you might get lucky and catch some dumb part time asshole who doesn't know any better.
