Its actually one of my favorite old games inspite of the QTE battle system. It had a big 100+ member dev team and took three years to make, kind of shame there aren't even any references to it these days. Be interesting if they actually brought it back somehow.

Music was also great.

As for the story, I thought it was fine, then again I just like JRPGs, I don't question them a whole lot because I just like to play them and not analyze everything that happens instead

DO NOT play the piece of shit "PC" port, it's the mobile shit

emulate the SNES or Gameboy advanced versions. The Gameboy advanced version has a shittier soundtrack but it fixes some serious bugs plauging the battle system in the SNES version.
