>he doesn't play video games competitively
Explain yourself.

I do and I can't enjoy games anymore because of it.
Because I have a fairly important and fulfilling job that takes up the majority of my time and when the day is finished I don't want to spend the last hours of my day playing with emotionally stunted manbabies who scream into a microphone over something as meaningless and vapid as an online video game.
Reminder that e-"sports" made the average nobody feel important in matchmaking and has in the last few years ruined online games beyond repair.
Get a life.
I can't even justify playing video-games
Because it's pathetic and I don't want to put in the time to play "competitively".
it's just a bunch of autists obsessing over a toy
also it's not a sport
>not playing games for fun

>implying competition isn't fun and fulfilling.
If there were no competitive shooters or fighting games I probably would have lost interest past age 7. The competition is the fun.

Because I'm not investing time and energy into a "career" that will only last about 5 to 10 years until your reflexes fade and younger players will dominate you at every turn.
I'll be in a corner office in 10 years, they'll be down the road flipping burgers.

There is such a thing as coaching or doing commentary/ analysis.

What kind of sad human being pays money to be in that audience?
