I never know if these kind of posts are just shitposting or if people are genuine but for me personally i think banjo is a fantastic game because they're games with solid controls that are responsive and work really well, the aesthetic is pleasing together with the top tier music and sound design, they were impressive back then and i still think they hold up today, the levels themselves at least in the first game are not too big but not too small so they end up having a perfect size that becomes enjoyable to run around and explore

obviously the game has it's flaws and there exists better platformers now, i think mario galaxy 1 & 2 blows anything from the n64 out of the water but that doesn't mean that banjo kazooie is shit
i think people just like to shit on older games because they're sick of people holding them on a pedestal

These are the dumbest possible views to hold on something completely subjective. You can't quantify "good" in the context of video games. There's no agreed-upon benchmark for what makes a video game good. It's a big mess of tiny subjective parts.

"Good" just means you like it. It's good because you enjoy it. Conversely, "bad" is bad because you don't like. To say "It's bad game, but I still like it" is fucking retarded.
