It was my first RPG and it's one of the nearest and dearest to my heart. The action commands during combat go a long way to making your standard turn-based combat exciting and engaging. Add in a god-tier OST and charming story and visuals and you got a solid 10/10.

I'm of the somewhat unpopular opinion that it's better than any of the Paper Mario games if you can get past the somewhat offputting 2.5D artstyle. 10/10 would beat a 5th time.
