So why don't many people like the brutal doom mod? I checked it out and it seemed fine to me. I did hear that apparently the guy who did had used assets from other modders without permission or something like that? Is that the reason why, or is it just vanilla fags being loud and obnoxious? I personally can go either, but it's not really a bad mod gameplay wise.

The best game in all of existence is Minecraft.
Think about it, there are people who recreated things like a working cellphone, even a full Pokemon Red game inside of Minecraft. How long until people recreate other games like Doom, Zelda, Tetris? Why stop there, why not recreated Skyrim, Fallout, Overwatch? No one thought you could make Pokemon, so no one would expect Dark Souls?

if you want to see mods that are actually well designed and even interested, check the doom threads at /vr/, since modders like terminusest13, kinsie and combine_kegan even go there. see their mods and you'll see something more solid than brutal doom.
