so this game just gave me a hell of a time getting it to run

>installed the direct X
>completely removed and reinstalled my GPU drivers
>yelled for about 10 minutes at this point
>finally decided to rename the skyrim EXE with the name of the launcher for some reason
>launches no problem what so ever
how the hell did Bethesda drop the ball so hard that the game doesn't even run with its default setup?
