I was thinking about this today, anon.
I am playing Nier Automata, and while the backtracking in side missions can be a pain, I realized that I was not bored. The movement is so fluid, beatifull and responsive that I didn't mind in running for 2 minutes straight.
Gravity Rush was the other game that I felt this way, it's amazing how you can "fall" in any direction.
I would also point,Prototype, I loved that game movement, but I played many years ago, so I don't know if it holds up today.

Personally, movement is one of the things that can make or break a game.

Really? Sunset Ovahdrivu barely has any momentum to it. It's just not satisfying.
Here's some actual good examples:
>Super Mario 64
>Skate 2
>Just Cause 2
>Zineth
>Team Fortress 2 (Soldier)
>Any Source or Goldsource game (Surf maps)
>Pic related: Spider Man 2, Ultimate Spider Man, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Bionic Commando (2009), Umihara Kawase, Ninja Cop

Did you play sunset overdrive? Just running around and grinding shit felt perfect. It was very satisfying to me
