People think trials are a major shake up even though they're just gyms not in designated buildings and with wild encounters instead of trainers. And it's more "difficult" than either of the Gen VI games, arguably Gen V as well outside of BW2's Easy and Challenge modes, so the retards with high self-esteem who play the games expecting a "challenge" praise it for that.
